The Lip Tint / 'Baby Blush'

The Lip Tint / 'Baby Blush'

The lightest possible intervention: one gentle session, minimal passes, a colour barely a shade up from natural, aimed at 'my lips but healthier'. A good entry point for nervous or first-time clients.

The brief

Not a colour change — a colour rescue. Add back the pink that circulation and age have dialled down, even out patchiness, and give the faintest border definition, so the client looks well-rested rather than made-up. Nobody should be able to tell it was done.

How it is done

A single light session, sheer natural-toned pigment, one to two gentle pixelation passes, generous blurring, deliberately stopping early. Often still benefits from a small touch-up, but some clients are happy after one.

Expectations

Because so little pigment goes in, it fades fastest — perhaps a year to noticeable softening — and it will not fix a genuinely dark or very uneven lip. It is the right choice for someone testing the waters who can always go richer next time.
