The list
Standard yakuman include: thirteen orphans (kokushi musou), four concealed triplets (suuankou), big three dragons (daisangen), little four winds and big four winds, all honours (tsuuiisou), all green (ryuuiisou), all terminals (chinroutou), nine gates (chuuren poutou), four kongs (suukantsu), and the heavenly and earthly hands for dealer and non-dealer first-turn wins.
How often do they happen?
Very rarely. Online statistics suggest a yakuman appears in well under one per cent of hands, and the most common ones are four concealed triplets, big three dragons and thirteen orphans. Nine gates and the heavenly hand are so rare that many players never see them.
Counted yakuman
Some rules treat any hand reaching 13 han, through ordinary yaku and dora, as a "counted yakuman". Others cap such hands at sanbaiman. Check your table's rules.
Double yakuman
In some rule sets certain hands — such as thirteen orphans with a thirteen-sided wait or big four winds — count as double yakuman. Competitive rules usually do not allow doubles.
