Azure Decoded
Microsoft's cloud, mapped service by service.
Azure Decoded is a working map of a platform with hundreds of services and a naming scheme that rarely helps. Each service gets a plain statement of what it is, what problem it solves, and what it competes with inside Azure itself.
It is organised by the decision you are making — compute, storage, networking, data, identity, messaging — rather than by Microsoft's own catalogue order.
Cost and operational characteristics get real attention, because on a cloud platform those are architectural concerns, not afterthoughts.
Not online yet. This one is written and waiting to be deployed. When it goes live it will be published on this domain and linked from here.
